The Post Office Wall of the New Millenium

They’re baaack!

For local crime buffs, it’s good news indeed. The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office has unveiled its new inmate release website.

I just found it, and after a few minutes of surfing it glitched. Still working the kinks out, I’m guessing. I liked the old format better (so far) as you could scroll down the mug shots, looking for identifiable faces. With the new set-up, it can be a time-consuming process (If you are on dial-up. Ahem.) I’m sure it will be fine, once I get used to it.

It’s nice to have it back. The old inmate releases site was useful as well as entertaining. When I had problems at work, I could usually find a picture of the offender. Habitual criminals don’t seem to get far from the jail, and we are just up the street.

Time for a virtual visit with my old friends…
